The Part 107 Library

Three volumes. One method.

Each volume does a single job. The full guide teaches every topic in depth, the supplement holds the charts and figures the test refers to, and the Fast Track condenses it all for the final week. Every practice question points you back to the exact page to restudy.

Why Aneroid Press

More than 2,000 pages of FAA source material. One organized course.

18FAA references on the official study list, and you're left to find and sort them yourself
2,000+pages across their current editions, most of them not about drones
2016the date on the FAA's own Remote Pilot Study Guide
1organized course, in the order the test covers it, with every point cited to its source

The FAA doesn't tell you which pages matter for your test. We did that work for you.

Beyond a study guide last revised in 2016, the FAA gives applicants a reading list: regulations, advisory circulars, handbooks, the Aeronautical Information Manual and safety alerts, written for different audiences and revised on different schedules. Most of those pages have nothing to do with flying a drone.

We read every document on the list against the test, pulled what the test draws on into one sequence, explained it in plain language and cited each point to its source so you can check it. Your study time goes into learning the material, not hunting for it.

  • Complete. Everything the test covers, from all 18 references, in one place.
  • Organized. Chapters follow the test's knowledge areas in order, with 500 practice questions and a written explanation for every answer.
  • Every miss is routed. Each practice question names the volume, chapter, section and page to reread.
  • Always current. Digital editions update through the year, and a dated source ledger lists every change. Even the FAA's own list falls behind: AC 00-6 Aviation Weather has been replaced by the Aviation Weather Handbook.

Built to the blueprint

Study time goes where the points are.

Regulations alone make up almost half the test. Loading and Performance is two percent. Our chapters, practice exams and diagnostics are weighted to match, so an evening of study buys the most points it can.
